Yamaha sax artist YolanDa Brown is poised to release her debut album, April Showers, May Flowers - available on 13th February 2012 on Black Grape Records.

On Friday 2nd March, music lovers attending the Forum Theatre will have the opportunity to hear one of the finest pianists of his generation, as Paul Lewis performs a programme of works by Schubert as part of a two year project to perform all the mature piano works from the last six years of Schubert's life at major venues worldwide.

The fourth season of the critically acclaimed Yamaha International Piano series continues at Malvern Theatres on Friday 3rd February 2012 with a recital by internationally renowned French pianist, François-Frédéric Guy, who performs an inspired programme of works by Beethoven.

Glenn Gould is a legend. Everyone wants to hear him play. When just 25 years old, he announced that when he reached 30 he would no longer be giving concerts. And in fact he went on to take this unprecedented step. He left his admirers an enormous collection of recordings. 2012 is the year of his 80th birthday; at the same time it is just 30 years since he died.

Dynamic pianist HJ Lim has signed an exclusive recording contract with the label EMI Classics. Her first project, under the new agreement, will be a spectacular recording of the Complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas. The sonatas, which have been curated by Lim into eight themes, will be released as four 2CD sets in January, April, July and October 2012. A complete box set with a bonus DVD will also be available from October 2012.
