Yamaha congratulates Bürgermusik Luzern for the 2nd win in a row at the Yamaha Swiss Open Contest !

The Swiss banding movement was enjoying the competitive atmosphere of the 21th Yamaha Swiss Open held in Luzerne at the weekend 25.-27.09.2010. During the morning session and the Testpiece "Blitz" the BML was placed second, but with a fantastic presentation of Hector Berlioz´ "Les Francs- Juges" they could take the title for another time to Luzern.

Since a longtime the BML is playing exclusive on Yamaha instruments so we congratulate the whole team and their conductor Michael Bach. Some more Yamaha Artists where involved in this contest as you can see Philip McCann as conductor of Berner Oberland.

The NEO Tenor Horn was presented beside Trombones, Euphoniums, Cornets etc. and very well received. During the contest Tim De Maeseneer (Solo Horn with Walberg Band) played on the NEO already and got very much positive comments for the great sound. All Swiss eyes and ears will now look towards the Swiss National Championships in Montreux at the end of November.
