Yamaha integrates Napster Streaming Music Service in its AVENTAGE AV receiver and the RX-V series
With multiple streams of music and direct access to over 15 million songs, customers can personalise their music experience throughout their home
London, 31 October 2012: The online music streaming service Napster is now available on selected Yamaha AV and AVENTAGE RX-V receivers.
The entire Napster offer can be used directly on the receiver's remote or via the Yamaha smartphone app, including access to over 15 million music tracks. In addition users have access to hundreds of pre-programmed radio channels, new music releases, the Napster charts and recommendations as well as an ’artist radio’ feature, which automatically creates playlists that match the individual taste in music of the user. Specially designed playlists, favourite artists, albums or individual tracks can be stored and heard in the user archive "My Music". The service also provides access to Napster exclusive tracks from renowned artists and music specials.
Yamaha integrates the Napster offer in the AV receiver, the RX-V and the AVENTAGE series. The RX-V series provides an attractive entry into the world of home theatre entertainment and the Napster digital music service integration offers users a wide selection of music on a sophisticated home entertainment system. The AVENTAGE models are designed for the best picture and sound experience in your own home. Thanks to sophisticated DSP technology the receivers offer excellent tone, bringing a high fidelity Napster experience into the home. A fifth base and new technologies such as ART Wedge reduce unwanted vibrations - the ideal base for optimal sound development.
With its high sensitive microphone, the YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) automatic calibration system calibrates the connected speakers perfectly within the room.
In terms of quality, the AVENTAGE series goes a step further: For this receiver Yamaha used particularly distinctive, hand selected components. A fifth base and new technologies such as ART Wedge reduce unwanted vibrations - the ideal basis for optimal sound development. The Napster feature is available on all AV receivers in the AVENTAGE series and the RX-V673 and RX-V773 models from the RX-V series also support the music streaming service.
