The TS-99B tripod helps remove the risk of personal injury and makes your life easier with its unique clutch mechanism. The patented Telelock system allows you to simply put the PA speaker onto the pole while the stand is in its lowest position and then raise it up by using one hand. This special clutch grabs the pole and prevents the weight of the speaker naturally lowering the tripod. In fact, the heavier the speaker, the tighter the clutch grips so raising a big PA cabinet on your own suddenly becomes a simple task.
The Telelock collar has an internal, one-way friction mechanism with three settings. In the “RAISE” setting, the mechanism grips and holds the tube, allowing you to incrementally pull the center tube up to the required height. In the “LOWER” setting, Telelock eases off and assists lowering the center tube. In the “LOCK” position, the telescoping tube stays in place allowing for easy removal of the speaker. This unique design reduces strain and adds safety!
After the gig you are tired, hungry and just want to go home so products that make the get-out easier are also very handy. The TS-99B Telelock system will now allow you to simply lower the PA cabinet to a manageable height before taking it off its pole. The great thing is that you can lower the speaker at your own pace by twisting the control on the Telelock.
TS-99B from Ultimate Support supports cabinets up to 150lbs so is perfect for any of the pole-mountable speaker solutions from Yamaha including the AX range of passive European speakers, the S series range of American Series Speakers and even the MSR range of powered PA speakers. TS-99B also has a ‘tophat adaptor’ allowing it to fit into any other manufacturers speaker tophat.
