23/8/2011 [Music Production]

Yamaha Music Production are delighted to announce a major partnership with Future Music for Producer Sessions Live 2011, the UK’s premier live event for hi-tech music making.

The event that launched last year with a sell-out attendance, brings together intimate tutorial sessions from some of the biggest names in music production alongside the chance to get hands-on with the latest hi-tech recording gear within a studio environment.

The 2011 event will feature more producers, more gear and more opportunity for today’s music makers to get on the fast track to success and Yamaha will not only have Product Specialists on hand for the two days to showcase a selection of the latest gear, from '0-Series' digital mixers and 'MSP' professional studio monitors, through to 'Pocketrak' portable recorders and the new 'MOX' synthesizers, but there will also be an exclusive opportunity to check out two of Yamaha hardest working artists. Xantone Blaqc and Erb n Dub will be in action across the weekend with a studio 'lite' set-up talking about their passion for producing music and revealing many of the tricks and techniques they use to do so.

Xantone Blaqc Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist and Vocalist, Xantoné Blacq is no stranger to the big stage or the studio. He has worked with Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Earth Wind & Fire, Nigel Kennedy and Candi Staton amongst many others. His music has been chosen twice as iTunes Staff Favourite and he is a respected Yamaha UK artist.

Erb n Dub Drum'n' Bass runs deep through the veins of this innovative UK producer, DJ and drummer. With collaborations, remixes and live support credits including the likes of DJ Fresh, Micky Finn, Mista Jam, Grooverider and Andy C to name but a few, Erb n Dub is a recognised force on the UK scene. Away from the limelight Erb n Dub is also heavily involved in teaching music tech through Youth Music Programmes and in September 2009 he worked alongside BBC Television, Dragons Den & Children In Need. Together they built a state of the art music studio and refurbished the community centre it is held in. Once again hosted at SAE’s flagship London school, this event promises a feast of entertainment for producers and musicians alike as the teams from Future Music and Computer Music will be taking over the building on the 3rd and 4th of September 2011 to present five floors and twenty demo rooms filled with tutorials, gear demos and essential advice for upcoming producers. For anyone looking to purchase, Absolute Music will also be in attendance with some fantastic deals on the days.

The Venue SAE London is the UK’s number one school for audio and video engineers. They’re throwing open the doors of their brand new flagship facility in London for Producer Sessions Live. So come to the event and check out SAE’s state-of-the-art studio HQ too!
