Recent UK entries aside, the Eurovision song contest is a prestigious event for some of Europe’s best talent. Artists like Katrina and the Waves, Lulu, Cliff Richard and most famously Abba have all once been entrants in this international ‘battle of the bands’ which is broadcast to millions throughout Europe every year.
After coming 15th out of 25 last year (and lets not even mention the UK’s position last year…) the Eurovision entry from Denmark this year is a song co-written by ex-Boyzone singer, Ronan Keating and performed by Danish national sensation - Brinck.
After recently re-releasing his debut album and writing songs which have appeared on X-Factor and hit Danish TV shows, Brinck’s performance of the song “Believe Again” was picked for the competition.
Keeping a cool head in Brinck’s band while they perform to over 600 million viewers Yamaha endorsee, Soren Andersen, with his black Yamaha SG1000 will be backing the performance. Check out Soren here and you’ll quickly see he is not just another session musician. Playing in bands like ‘Superfuzz’ as well as performing with the likes of Dave Mustaine, Marco Mendoza, Tommy Aldridge and Billy Sheehan this guy gets around a bit and has his trusty SG with him every step of the way.
