New Drum Products for 2012

Return of the Hexrack.

The amazing Hex rack is back, this time it’s lighter, it’s stronger and also at a lower cost than the previous model. The Hexrack II has a new Aluminum tubing design which has been reinforced using a slotted rail design that offers an optimum balance of light weight and strength. The Hexrack II also offers compatibility with the original Hexrack system. With Curved pipes many clamp options the all new Hexrack II will change the way drummers think about kit set ups and have imaginations running wild.

Striking new colours

We see 2 new colours for the legendary Recording Custom series Antique Sunburst and Deep Blue. Antique Sunburst was an original colour of the then called 9000 series back in the late 70’s and this re issue looks perfect for the set. The Deep Blue is a brand new colour, with a deep rich finish the colour looks inviting enough to dive into. For our Stage Custom range a new Matt Black and Honey Amber finishes are added to the range which compliment the beautiful chrome logs and badge design.

Following the successful release of the new DTX500 series line up last year, two new configurations have been added to the range in the form of DTX530K and DTX560K. Both configurations have the added feature of the real Hi Hat stand and large 3 Zone cymbal pads from the DTX 700 series for maximum feel and playability. While both sets are mounted on the sturdy and compact RS500 rack the DTX560K configuration also has the added benefit of a complete set of Yamaha’s TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone) pads for the Snare Drum and Tom Toms.
