For a number of years Yamaha have offered a wide range of musical services and support via the Internet. This includes Yamaha’s unique Internet Direct Connection and Digital Music Notebook. These features offer a wide range of software options to keyboard owners including the potential to download MIDI Files, new accompaniment styles and even on-line music lessons. Yamaha is delighted to announce the opening of a new, dedicated website where all of these ‘Net Services’ are available in one place. The web address is:

The site is designed to help Yamaha instrument users, particularly those who are new to Yamaha’s on-line services, become acquainted with what’s available and encourage players to expand their musical experience.
Yamaha’s unique Internet Direct Connection feature allows instruments to link directly to the Internet via any broadband connection is now available on an increasing number of instruments for the Yamaha range. This includes the Clavinova CVP series, the S range of digital keyboards and instruments such as the Modus F11 digital piano. The F11 connects to the Internet wirelessly and can receive songs from ‘Yamaha Radio’, ideal for its built-in ‘Background Music’ service.
