Following on from the success and critical acclaim of the inaugural conservatoire lunchtime recital season which began in September 2007 and finished in June 2008; Yamaha Artist Services Europe (London) have announced that a second full season of concerts begins in September 2008, featuring some of the very best pianists from our London conservatoires.
Providing a wonderful opportunity for highly gifted young artists to perform at an excellent venue on superb instruments, these recitals will also give a unique insight into the extraordinary wealth of talent being nurtured in our conservatoires. We do hope you will be able to join us for one or more of these showcase performances.
- Sep 24: Diana Ionescu plays Haydn, Chopin and Debussy
- Oct 08: Mariangela Vacatello plays Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt
- Oct 22: Jonathan Musgrave plays Brahms, Ireland and Howard Ferguson
- Nov 12: Alissa Tavdidishvili plays Bach, Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin and Douglas Finch
- Nov 26: Madalina Rusu plays Schubert, Rachmaninov and Liszt
- Dec 10: Stefan Ciric plays Beethoven and Brahms
The performances are free of charge and will take place in the Recital Hall of Yamaha Arist Services Europe (London), situated within the historic Piano Hall at Chappells West End Store.
