FM PRODUCES DYNAMIC.....
FM produces dynamic voices that evolve and change timbre with different velocities. These kinds of sounds are not possible with PCM based architectures.
912 PRESET VOICES.....
912 preset voices plus 64 user locations pre-loaded with the original DX7 voices.
ADD 16 NOTES.....
Adds 16 notes of polyphony to the synthesizer it is installed on.The Polyphony extension feature increases polyphony when multiple PLG150-DX boards are installed.
CAPABLE OF BULK.....
Capable of bulk reception of voice data, including all voice data made for the DX7.
COMES WITH DX.....
Comes with DX Easy Editor for simple voice editing and DX Simulator for detailed editing. Notes:Accepts voice data of the following FM synthesizers: DX7, DX1, TF1, TX116, TX816, TX7, DX5, DX72,FD, DX72D, DX7S,TX802. (Some voices may sound slightly different when plaed back on the PLG150-DX) DX Easy Editor and DX Simulator are software plug-ins deeloped for XGworks sequencing software (Windows 98/95).
