SG3000

Body and neck are integrated into a single structure that lets string vibration resonate more effectively from the strings, through the neck and body, reducing energy loss and delivering long sustain. The cross maple design creates a T shape that blends the tonal qualities of maple (a wood with a pronounced mid-range and sweet highs) and mahogany (a wood with great low to mid range tone), to produce long sustain that is well balanced over a wide tonal range.

By using fully covered pickups, the SG3000 delivers a milder tone (when compared to the other SGs). The Brass Pickup Mounts give a more effective flow of vibrations further adding to the SG3000's substantial sustain.

The SG's smooth bodyline are beautifully accented with Mexican Abalon binding.

Just in case there was any mistake - the "Professional" logo denotes this guitar as the top of the Yamaha electric range.

Three-piece position makers on the neck are designed with Mexican Abalon and mid sections reflect the light - great for a dark stage.
