Yamaha extends the usability of the HS Series with the introduction of the brand new HS-I models

For a long time, Yamaha’s HS speakers have been among the most popular studio monitors in the world. Now, with the brand new HS-I models Yamaha extends the usability of the HS series tremendously, placing the self-powered HS-I into the Live and Installation market with additional mounting points on all four sides of the enclosure, as well as with three optional bracket types available. The new HS-I series comprises three models: HS5I, HS7I and HS8I, all available in black and white versions.
With the optional brackets, all mounted on the M5 or M8 screw holes of the respective side, you can install and adjust the HS-I speakers in various tilt and rotation angles on ceilings, walls and batons, with spacing or directly on the surface.
Besides the extended mounting options the HS-I also impress with their well-known sound quality. The enclosures are constructed from dense, resilient MDF, with a dampened acoustic response, employing a traditional three-way mitred jointing technique, which eliminates unwanted resonance. The design also reduces audible noise by up to 6dB.
Additional sound flexibility comes with the ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM controls allowing you to adapt the loudspeakers to the acoustics of rooms of a room.
