SILENT Brass™ receives the “German Design Award 2016”

The Yamaha SILENT Brass™ is the winner of the "German Design Awards 2016" in the category "Excellent Product Design". This interesting tool allows musicians to play anywhere without disturbing anyone and still have the feeling of blowing naturally into their instrument. Pickup MuteTM (sound absorber) and Personal StudioTM (power and administration) are the components that transform the sound into electronic tones that can be heard with headphones or fed directly into a recording studio. The peripheral absorption equipment is designed in a way that makes the tool comfortable to use and easy to install and uninstall. The German Design Award program is organized by the German Design Council in 2012, and has been held every year since then. This award program has gained an excellent public image for identifying and honoring unique designs from a communication and product design perspective. This year, there were over 4,000 entries, with 758 entries coming from outside Germany
