YAMAHA GOES FACE TO FACE WITH ARTISTS AND INDUSTRY AT BBC INTRODUCING’S AMPLIFY ’17

Yamaha’s Pro Music Division is amping up its engagement with the emerging artist sector, by joining forces with hosts BBC Introducing, to partner Amplify ’17 – a new music event at ExCeL, London from 6th to 8th October.

Featuring artists in conversation, industry speakers, live sessions, masterclasses and networking opportunities, Amplify ’17 has been designed to give up and coming musicians the tools, advice and industry access they need to be successful.

Yamaha is looking forward to meeting artists and industry attending Amplify ’17, and is lining up a mouth-watering musical experience for visitors, who will have full access to introduce themselves to and hang out VIP style with the Yamaha team in a special ‘Green Room’, to talk about making music and explore how Yamaha can help them take their ambitions and sound to the next level. There’ll also be interactive presentations, tech sessions and the chance to try the latest guitars, drums, synths and PA, plus see exhibits of iconic Yamaha artist gear as used by Coldplay.

As the world’s largest music brand, Yamaha is the only manufacturer able to offer musical instruments and PA solutions from home to studio to stage and to stadium and cater for musicians of all ages and abilities across every possible musical style and genre.

BBC Introducing is celebrating a 10 year milestone and the decision to partner Amplify ’17 is the latest of a highly significant number of innovative Yamaha events and initiatives that over the past decade have offered unrivalled exposure and support for emerging artists. These have included scholarships, live Yamaha stages at London’s O2 for Country 2 Country, regular showcases at the company’s flagship Yamaha Music London store in Soho, national competitions to discover new musical and song-writing talent, and the trailblazing ♯TestDriveRevstar campaign, that since May has followed six new and emerging artists experiencing life with Yamaha’s new Revstar electric guitars, and culminates with a live gig at Rough Trade East, London on 19th October.

Yamaha Pro Music Sales and Marketing Director Robert Webster states, ”Amplify ’17 offers the perfect opportunity to educate, entertain and inspire by going face to face with the most exciting new music talent out there, and connect with likeminded and proactive music companies who share Yamaha’s philosophy and passion for performance, and desire to create and support the next generation of musicians.”
