Yamaha Horns take centre stage on Tower of Power UK tour!
Win tickets + meet & greet with Tower of Power, one of the world’s most celebrated and popular bands.
Tower of Power draws capacity audiences wherever they perform.
What is perhaps less well known is that the entire 5-strong Horn section and backbone of this iconic group completely comprises Yamaha products. This will be showcased when the band tours the UK in October, taking in London’s Roundhouse as well as having their first show dates outside of London in fifteen years.
Formed in San Francisco in 1968, the band’s debut album 'East Bay Grease' defined the East Bay sound, propelling the band to international stardom and to releases of a string of best-selling albums. The 1970's saw the band achieving massive success and critical acclaim with radio classics such as 'So Very Hard To Go' and 'What is Hip?'. Now the band plays over 200 shows a year, never having lost their passion for the stage and their global fanbase.
In recent years Yamaha Horns have also helped to define the band’s exceptional sound and music. Tower of Power’s co-founder Emilio Castillo said of the up-coming UK tour dates: "All of us are really excited about coming back to the UK and bringing some deeply soulful music with us."
As an added bonus, Yamaha has a pair of tickets to give away for every UK concert which will include a personal meet & greet with the band!
