In addition to a brilliant music performance guests will be treated to a unique insight into how these exceptional instruments are developed from design stage through to manufacture and provide a superb opportunity for players of all levels to experience the Custom Clarinets in the hands of one of the world’s finest exponents.

There’ll also be an opportunity to meet Yamaha specialists, try the custom clarinet range first hand, receive complimentary gifts and be entered into a competition to receive a private master class with David.

David Campbell has performed regularly with the London Sinfonietta, London Mozart Players and the London Philharmonic Orchestra and more recently has forged a highly successful career based on solo repertoire and chamber music.

David is also hugely committed to assisting the next generation of young clarinettists and is currently ‘ Head of Woodwind’ at Westminster School and a visiting Lecturer at London’s City University, these teaching roles complemented by a busy schedule of regular events at schools throughout the UK.

After some 35 years David changed to Yamaha CSG III clarinets in October 2016 and this UK tour is the latest example of Yamaha and David collaborating, together they now undertake regular workshops, presentations, master classes and concerts across the country.

"I switched to Yamaha CSG III clarinets exactly a year ago. Since then I have opened the case every day with real excitement about playing them. They make a great sound, have reliable and very stable intonation and the design and build quality ensure that everything works! At last I can concentrate solely on the music and my interpretation."
