Georgina Jackson

Georgina is widely acknowledged as the finest female lead trumpet player in the country and one of the top jazz vocalists. At university she was awarded the Malcolm Arnold Brass Prize and the Goff Richards Jazz Award. Following this, Georgina took over the role as Lead Trumpet in the Andy Prior, played lead trumpet on the recent West End Production of 'The Ratpack - Live from Las Vegas', the Worldwide tour of 'Chicago The Musical' and Seal's World Tour and has worked with many artists and bands including, George Benson, Nancy Sinatra, Gladys Knight, Four Tops and Temptations and The Ronnie Scotts Jazz Orchestra.

Georgina also runs trumpet workshops and demonstrations for Brass Festivals and recorded her latest album at Abbey Road Studios which is to be released next Spring.

She has been proud to play Yamaha trumpets since the age of 8.
