Guitar Encounters teaches electric guitar to students aged 8 and up, through the teen years and into adulthood. With a focus on building a repertoire across musical genres, developing strong technique, improving sight reading, understanding theory, and ear training, Guitar Encounters aims to produce well-rounded “jobbing guitarists.” Students will learn vital skills in composing arrangements and improvisation. From kids to adults, Guitar Encounters helps aspiring guitarists of all ages master a versatile range of styles while acquiring the knowledge and abilities to become skilled performers and musicians
