With the clear aim of creating the ultimate baritone saxophone, Yamaha woodwind specialists have re-examined every element of the design, seeking the incremental improvements necessary to produce an instrument of extraordinary quality and sophistication.

A redesigned, shorter, one-piece bell delivers a rich sound and achieves improved intonation of low registers and uniform tonality across all registers, while an updated key layout provides better grip and playability. A reduction in overall weight combines with improved ergonomics including a detachable peg, resulting in an instrument that’s exceptionally comfortable to play.
